Brown-headed Cowbird

I've posted a couple of photos of these in the past, but this is a much better shot. This bird is considered a parasite, in that it uses nests of other birds to lay its eggs, instead of building its own. This has a tendency to cause other species to be reduced in numbers, as the cowbird is often the largest and strongest bird in the nest.
