Ring-necked PheasantPosted by Scott (Allentown, United States) on 3 April 2009 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. I don't see these often, let alone in my back yard. We had some corn based cereal out on the ground, and he must have smelled it on his way past. He came inside our fence and ate just about every bit of it that was there. Then he kept walking up and down the fence line trying to find a way out. Eventually he realized that if he expended just a little energy, he could flap his wings and fly over the fence.
