Lehigh Canal

Another from my archives, this is one of my earliest digital photos. These canal locks are on the Lehigh Canal, and are located in Hugh Moore Park in Easton, PA. In the summer, it is possible to ride the Joshua White, a canal boat that is drawn by a mule up and down this portion of the canal. In most areas along the Lehigh River, the canal system has been destroyed, or fallen to neglect. This portion has been restored and maintained to preserve a piece of history.
