This is the first in a series of architectural photos of 18th, 19th, and early 20th century buildings in downtown Easton, PA. Originally built in 1753, the Jacob Bachmann Publick House is the oldest building in Easton. It has been undergoing restoration work and has become a beautiful example of early American architecture. I am all for restoring and conserving old buildings. They just don't build them like they used to.

I remember this building before restoration! Beautiful building, and very nice photo of it! I'm enjoying your series since I'm right across the river!
