About Scott

I am an amateur photographer who began shooting digital in July 2000. I have a large number of photos taken with my C3030-Z. There are even a few that I think are good. I recently upgraded to my first dSLR, an Olympus E-510. I am very much still learning how this wonderful toy operates. I carry it with me just about everywhere I go, hoping to get that once in a lifetime shot. When I do, it will be posted here.

And now that I have a long zoom lens, I have taken a very strong interest in birding. I have been wanting to take wildlife photos for a long time. That is why I bought the lens. And now that I have it, a whole new world has opened to me, and I am quite fascinated by it. As a result, my photo taking interests have changed somewhat, causing me to present many more photos of birds than of just about anything else at this point in time.
